And I’m stressed. Negotiating the complicated world of healthcare is stressful. And I say that as a healthcare professional. I worked in the NHS. I know how it is.
Each day I am getting worse. I am eating less and less and I can feel my body slowly shutting down.
I don’t get hungry, I don’t get thirsty. I don’t feel anything. I’m not even cold anymore.
I just want someone to come and help me. But instead I have to make endless phonecalls, trying to find out who needs to refer me to who, where I need to register, who has what information. It’s all too much. I just want to go to sleep.
